Poetic Terms Project
The following are the requirements for your poetic terms project.
1. You must have a minimum of 16 slides.
2. Your very first slide must have your name, period number, the date that your assignment is due, and the title of the project.
3.Your last slides for each of your poetic terms must have your work citation mainly in MLA format. Please, do not simply drop website addresses on the citation page without connecting them to the poetic forms that you have written.
4. Each of your poetic terms must have FIVE slides, for a total of Fifteen slides ( Three terms in all)
a. Slide 1: the name of the poetic term, the pronunciation of the term, the origin of the term and the definition of the term, nicely placed on the slide.
b. slide 2: An example of the representation of the term in any literary work, or from your environment
c. Slide 3: An example of the representation of the term in any literary work or from your environment, it can also be from other fields of endeavor, such as psychology, history, anthropology, mathematics, sociology, etc.
d. Slide 4: Your own representation of the poetic form. This means that you have to write or create a poem or words that fit the poetic term that you have just described or defined in your first slide.
e. Slide 5: The bibliography for that particular poetic term. (That way you are finished with that term and then move on to the other.
Please, make sure that you change the background of the slide after each poetic term.
